Title: How to Lose 11.5 pounds in three days (not recommended)

I headed home on Thurday night thinking I was going to have a relaxing three-day weekend and rest up for the coming week and the first show at the amphitheatre this season. I was taking a vacation day and I had some projects in mind for my time.
Wrong!
Come 10:15 p.m. and all the plans for the next three days and beyond went out the window. Or actually someplace else I won't detail here. Suffice to say it will be one hell of a long time before I go back to Kentucky Fried Chicken for the chicken-bacon ranch salad.
Food poisoning.
I spent the next three days on the couch or in the bathroom and that was it. I slept an outrageous amount of hours and didn't feel like doing much else. No food, very little to drink. I think my entire menu for the three days consisted of 2 bottles of Gatorade, about a cup of chicken soup and a couple of oranges; and most of this was on the third day.
I read one time that on a sensible diet and exercise program you can safely loose 3 pounds a week. I lost 11.5 pounds in three days.
It's late Monday night now and I had to take the day off as a sick day. My total effort today was to eat a chicken soup lunch and a few pieces of fruit and that made me so tired I wanted to take a nap.
So, it's back to work tomorrow for as long as I have the energy. With a show on Saturday there is just a lot to do to get ready.
